Behind the Tapas - Meet Your Guide

I’m a Swedish girl with an endless love for good food, great company, and unforgettable moments. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved discovering new places, sharing stories, and making friends wherever I go. My journey with Tasty Tapas Tours started right at the beginning. I’ve been part of the family since the very first tours.

Before that, I’d often wander into bars and restaurants alone, just to soak up the atmosphere and see where the night would take me. I always found myself meeting wonderful people who wanted to know where to go next and I loved showing them my favorite spots around beautiful Barcelona. Those evenings would often turn into spontaneous tours full of laughter, delicious bites, and new friendships.



Working with Tasty Tapas Tours lets me keep living that passion every single day. For me, there’s nothing better than food I’m a true foodie at heart. But what makes it even better is sharing it with others. Meeting new people, hearing their stories, learning from them, and feeling inspired by their experiences is what makes this so special.

We had a fantastic time on this food tour with Juan Carlos! He was incredibly personable, friendly, and made everyone feel welcome from the start. It was a pleasure getting to know him while learning about Barcelona’s culture, history, and local traditions. The food stops were excellent, and the entire experience was relaxed, fun, and memorable. Thank you, Ida! We had the most wonderful time on Ida’s Tasty Tapas Tour. The tapas was absolutely incredible, and we loved eating alongside the locals in authentic neighbourhood bars – it felt like a true Barcelona experience. Ida was so knowledgeable, not only about the food and wine but also the history and culture of Barcelona, which made the tour even more enjoyable. We couldn’t recommend Ida and this tour more highly.
